What you can expect from this site, what it does not promise, and the rules for using it.

Study material, not certification
SterileExam is an independent study resource. It does not certify anyone, it does not issue credentials, and it cannot register you for an exam. It is not a school and it does not grant credit toward any program or toward the hands on hours the certification requires.
SterileExam is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by HSPA. CRCST is a certification mark of the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. We use the name only to say which exam this material prepares you for, which is the only accurate way to describe it. Anything official about the exam comes from HSPA, not from us.
No promise about your result
Nothing here guarantees that you will pass any exam. We do not offer a pass guarantee and we would not believe one on somebody else's site either. A practice score is a practice score: it is a measurement of how you did on our questions, on that day, and it is not a prediction and not an official score.
Our questions are ours
Every question, explanation and page on this site is original work written against the exam content outline that HSPA publishes. None of it is taken from a real exam. It is protected by copyright, and it is for your own study: you may not copy it, resell it, or feed it into a product that competes with this one.
If you believe something here infringes your rights, tell us and we will look at it and remove it if you are right.
Accuracy and dates
Everything factual on this site carries the source it came from and the date we read it. That is deliberate: exam requirements, fees and outlines change, and a claim that was true in August may not be true next year. We update what we find, but we do not promise the site is current at the moment you read it. Before you rely on a number here, check it against HSPA.
If and when something is sold here
There is nothing for sale on this site today. No payment is taken and no card details are collected. When a paid product exists, its price, what it includes, how you get access and the refund terms will be published before you can buy it, and they will be on this page too.
Links to other sites
Where we cite a source we link to it. Those sites are not ours, we do not control what they publish, and linking to one is not an endorsement of it. How this site makes money, and whether any link pays us, is spelled out in how we make money.
Using the site
Use it to study. Do not try to break it, scrape it wholesale, or use it in a way that stops other people from using it. We can stop serving the site to anyone doing that.
No warranty, and the limit of what we owe you
The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be available at all times or free of errors. To the fullest extent the law allows, SterileExam is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from using it, including an exam result. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you actually paid us, which today is nothing.
Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by agreement.
Changes
These terms apply to SterileExam. If they change, the date at the top of this page changes with them, and a material change will be described here rather than slipped in.
